It is travel story based on the hiking in northern heights of Pakistan, Rakaposhi and Karakoram Mountain range. The writer compared peaks of Rakaposhi with the white Taj Mahal of Agra. So, many of the locals, called these peaks as the Taj Mahal of the Karakoram. Similar to this, there are many old stories burried in these old elevated peaks. These looks more beautiful than Taj Mahal, when shines in the sunlight.
The story of the novel is based on the true essence of relationships, love, dreams and mountains. It also mentions many of the great characters, having loving around these valleys. This is the story, which tells us the most beautiful hiking journey of the mountainer, who ccam to climb the most beautiful mountains in the world.
The main character “Pareshy” is a young girl, who likes to hike mountains. She is engaged to her cousin named “Saif”. During her trip to Muree Hills, she meets a Turkish Mountain Climbber “Ufaq Arslan”. She also does not like her aunt as much. Karakoram ka Taj Mahal is the story of the adventure, love of a fairy, who crosses the desert of snow all alone. Overall the plot of the story is captivating. An everlasting touch of thrill and adventure give great value to the novel.
Nimra Ahmed is a great novel writer and has raised many of the social issues through her novels. Some of the her most demanding novels include Mushaf, Namal, Paras and Pahari Ka Qaidi.
